Wednesday threw us some big changes here in Mid-Michigan. Morning clouds and a few isolated thunderstorms quickly gave way to afternoon sunshine and breezy conditions, and have set us up for a smooth ride through the remainder of the work week.

We're back to open-window weather tonight as a dome of high pressure begins to spread in across the Great Lakes. Skies are clear, and will remain that way throughout the rest of the night. With that clearing has also come a big drop in humidity levels, so it's going to feel about as pleasant as it can for a mid-June night. Lows will slide to the low and middle 50s, with a light westerly wind at 5-10 mph.

Flag Day

Sunshine will be in full force throughout the entire day as High pressure will be in control of Mid-Michigan's weather. With having mostly sunny skies, make sure to have the sunscreen ready to go to prevent any kinds of sunburn as the UV index will be allowing sunburn within 20 minutes on unprotected skin.

Temperatures will be starting off on the mild side in the 60s for the morning hours. By afternoon, high temperatures will be reaching into the low to mid 80s for most locations. Have the sunglasses as well as some water when heading outdoors for the day. Winds will be no where near as breezy as they were Wednesday; from the northwest around 5-10 mph.
